Dear Church Family and Friends,
Pam and I are very blessed and humbled to serve with you here at First Baptist. It’s even more special during the Christmas season. We hope you take the time to make Jesus the center of the Season! Here are some of the Christmas happenings that you’ll want to be sure to come enjoy with us! Be sure to invite others to join you.
Christmas Schedule
Saturday, December 9th - Join us at 9:30 a.m. to Canvas the neighborhoods with flyers about our Christmas events and a gift.
Sunday, December 10th, 9:30 a.m. – Children will be singing at this special worship service.
Sunday, December 10th, 4:00 p.m. All Church Christmas Party. There will be a great potluck meal with Italian Beef sandwiches, fun Christmas games, an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, a Photo Booth, and more! Anyone who needs a ride let the church office know. Bring your favorite Hors d’oeuvres, dessert, or side dish to share.
Wednesday, December 13th, 3:30 p.m. Christmas Caroling. We will bring Christmas joy to some nursing homes and shut-ins!
Thursday, December 14th, 11:30 a.m. There will be a luncheon and Christmas concert by Echoes of Grace.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Sunday, December 24th Come and celebrate the birth of Jesus at our Christmas Eve with Christmas Carols & Candlelight at 4:00 p.m.
We have Christmas Invitations for all to use to invite people to our Christmas Eve service and our Sunday services. Please take some of the round invitations on Sunday and take a bold step to invite people!
I want to thank you for all of your giving. The Lord is going to do a great thing among us in 2024. We are praying, preparing, and getting ready for growth and a spiritual harvest. Thank you if you can help FBC finish the year on a strong note! It will also help us start 2024 on a strong note. We also have giving online now. Just go to www.decatur-church.com and click on the “Give” button in the upper right corner. Thank you for your tithes, gifts, and offerings.
