Dear Church Family,

Pam and I really enjoyed the Christmas season here at FBC!   We thought the decorating was meaningful, caroling was special, Sundays were impactful, the Christmas party was a little crazy and Christmas Eve was wonderful! Thanks to all who helped, served, and participated.  I have heard of many of you telling me of people that you invited to our Christmas Eve candlelight service!  Thank you for catching the vision to reach out to others!
  I truly believe that 2024 is going to be a special year as we work to build God’s Kingdom here at FBC!  We are making plans to start and build adult ministries in the areas of Life Groups, Men’s ministries, and Women’s ministries.  We are also working to rebuild the children and youth ministries! Please pray for more people to come to FBC that can help in these areas.
Please also pray for the Lord to bring us the right people to help serve in the positions of Worship Director and Pianist.
I love the prayer in Ephesians 3:20-21.  This is my prayer for you personally and for First Baptist Church of Decatur.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
