Dear Church Family,

I have been thinking of things and people I am thankful for during this season of First Baptist’s growth and reaching out! I wanted to do a Top Ten but couldn’t stop at 10, because of the great people and activities happening in the name of our Lord Jesus!
I am thankful for:
1.  For leaders who care deeply for and pray for the church and the future at
FBC!
2. For Sunday School and Bible Study leaders!
3. For the people who have stepped forward to give our Children’s Director Isabela a growing team to carry on discipleship and outreach! (She couldn’t do it without you!)
4. For the youth team who are working with our growing Youth Ministry! Please pray that the youth become disciples of Jesus!
5. For the worship team people (singers, musicians, sound & media workers!) You make our worship services successful!
6. For the growth in offering and mission giving in 2024! We are still short of the general budget but inching in the right direction! Praise the Lord and thank you!
7. For all the people who help with the handling of finances. Thank you for your faithfulness!
8. For the Official and Unofficial Greeters on Sunday mornings! Your smiles, and handshakes make both people who are new as well as all of us who are already part of FBC feel welcome!
9. For the growing attendance in both the Worship Service and Sunday School classes! Such a blessing to see people in the Word and growing in faith!
10. For those helping our men’s and women’s ministry start and grow more!
11. For our seniors ministry who want to have a good ministry that will reach out and connect seniors to each other and the Lord!
12. For a church that truly cares for one another especially in tough times through visits, food, prayer, and encouragement!

Here's some of what’s happening in June and beyond.
