Dear First Baptist Family,

I always marvel when I read Ephesians 1:3: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”  Pam and I are very blessed to be with you and to be in partnership for the gospel of Jesus Christ!
We are excited about starting Connect Groups in October! This ministry is designed to help us come closer to each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. Each group will meet twice a month, build relationships with one another, and learn how to apply God’s word to their lives. You can sign up on the yellow card in the bulletin, sign up in the back of the sanctuary, or call the church office. We have had a good start to our Connect Group sign-ups, so let us know if you can join us!
There will be a very special Women’s Luncheon with a great guest speaker, Tracy Willet Harms, lunch, snacks, and much more on Saturday, November 1.  Women, be sure to save the date and invite someone to join you!
   Fall Fest is on Saturday, October 25, from 2:00-4:00.  We are still in need of donated costumes for our Costume closet for families in need. Please bring any costume donations on Sunday mornings or to the church office Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:30. Also, you can help by donating small items for trick or treat, decorating a door, handing out candy, and cakes baked for the cake walk. Please let Isabela know that you are available.
Lastly, this Sunday is National Back to Church Sunday.  We would love to have you come worship with us and invite someone to join you!  Hope to see you on Sunday!
